The economies effect on the web is now where mobile and tablets become more important. How responsive a design is will get people to buy more products because of the value and will get people to use their devices on the go. Also, less device specificity. Instead the device itself will be geared to a customers wants and needs. The web itself will move toward being able to be used multi-platform such as Apple TV or Regular TV. People often multi-tasked such as using a mobile device while watching TV. Regular TV should tell information such as: time, google search box, xbox, voice gestures etc.
More remote controls will have keyboards also. Screen width on an imac is the same as the HDTV monitor. Responsive Web Design when doing testing is cheaper to test on mobile phones. More TV’s will have web browsers. Web sites will be leaner, faster, and more efficient.
People are going to soon pool resources adding more design to the mix where the technical side was the focus before. Responsive web and user interface is stronger than ever and web designers opinions are needed more too. Younger users are being educated in web design more on the web on websites such as code school.
Adobe Edge reflow cc is a new web tool to help design responsive web layout. Adobe after effects is another software package which helps with visual effects. Online internet, more video and a digital single reflex (DSLR) look, depth of field and it also has slow motion.
Another way mobile design is becoming most important for web designers when the user interface design focuses on finger use (not cursors) and using gestures.
In RWD (Responsive Web Design) it’s important to be able to resize a web site to different devices. Now tablet and notebook sales are on the rise. Smart phones, too. RWD will have to have content go from three columns to two columns to one column.
